Software Company to invest $28.4M
WASHINGTON, DC, April 19, 2018 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that it has secured a 205,000-square-foot lease for Appian, a software services company based in Virginia.
Appian will move into Valo Park at 7950 Jones Branch Drive in McLean, Va. The company will bring 600 additional jobs to the region while retaining approximately 600 positions already based in Northern Virginia. Paul Darr, Chaise Schmidt and Dale Powell represented Appian, while Betty McIntosh and Carol Henderson managed state and county incentives.

Owned by Tamares, Valo Park is a 785,000-square-foot complex of Class-A trophy buildings, with amenities including conference facilities, a 20,000-square-foot fitness facility, athletic courts and an auditorium large enough to accommodate 300 people. The complex also provides tenants with a newly renovated lobby restaurant and coffee bar, a full service eatery and executive dining areas. Outdoor amenities include a lake, jogging trails, outdoor picnic areas, gardens and high-end art installations. Erik McLaughlin and Jeff Roman of CBRE represent ownership in leasing Valo Park.
