Regional Expert Brings Banking Industry Experience to Firm
WASHINGTON, DC, June 27, 2017 – Cushman & Wakefield today announced that Marshall Scallan has joined the firm to serve as Managing Director within its Capital Markets group, focusing on originating and structuring institutional debt for all property types including office, multifamily, industrial, and retail. Scallan will work with the team to assist clients in financing their acquisitions and with general financing needs.

Scallan brings more than a decade of experience in the area of commercial real estate finance where he focused on providing financial services to targeted, relationship-oriented CRE developers and investors throughout D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Most notably he has worked for SunTrust Bank as Senior Vice President, and for CapitalSource LLC as an investment officer. While in those roles he oversaw the originating, underwriting, and closing of real estate loans for CRE developers and investors throughout the Washington DC Metropolitan Region.
Mr. Scallan is a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, and received his MBA from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. While in graduate school, he was awarded a PREAA scholarship as well as a Distinguished Graduate Fellowship, providing him the opportunity to research business trends related to real estate operations. In addition, Scallan represents the Mid-Atlantic region of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA), where he serves as a resource to current students and alumni, sharing his real estate expertise with burgeoning professionals around the world. Outside of his real estate endeavors, Mr. Scallan gives back to the community by serving as a sous chef at Miriam’s Kitchen, a nonprofit whose mission is to end chronic homelessness.
